Phenomenal Women 2020: Keynote Panel discussion – women, democracy and documentary

The Phenomenal Women 2020 keynote panel discussion brings together different perspectives on women making documentaries and fighting for democracy.

Join us in a conversation about the role of women and documentary in politics. This discussion will be Chaired by equalities champion Talat Yaqoob and MSPs involved in the Scottish Parliament’s 50:50 campaign to see women equally represented in government and by the filmmakers.

Guest speakers: Talat Yaqoob (Chair), documentary filmmakers Mila Turajlic and Rachel Leah Jones, Hannah Bardell MP, Alison Johnstone MSP, Ruth Maguire MSP and Isabel Moura Mendes of the British Council.
