Phenomenal Women returns in person in Edinburgh, Inverness and online with a special programme of acclaimed documentaries directed by women tackling mental health issues and politics through a personal lens and a female gaze.

Join us for the Scottish Premiere of Self-Portrait, a moving portrait of an artist and a portrait of a deadly disease. During the last years, Lene Marie Fossen became recognised as a world class photographer. She has been suffering from severe anorexia since the age of ten. She had a unique photo-project: expose the shame and confront the disease. Her photo art is raw and honest.

To make our events more accessible, we are using a sliding scale ticket price for our screenings. You can choose what you pay based on your circumstances – you won’t be asked for any proof / ID, we just ask that you are honest!
