Mother Vera | Filmmakers Circle
We are delighted to announce a new Filmmakers Circle event led by Cécile Embleton, co-director of Mother Vera.
Join us for a rare, meditative gathering that goes beyond the mechanics of filmmaking, embracing a documentary practice where intention meets intuition.
Learn how to recognise and honour your voice in the creative process and achieve your authentic vision by introducing radical intimacy to your storytelling approach. Through guided exercises and embodied awareness this workshop will offer a safe space for dialogue for documentary practitioners who wish to gain trust in themselves and build a genuine connection with their subject, shifting from extraction toward collaboration.
Whether you're a seasoned documentarian rethinking your approach, an emerging filmmaker seeking deeper purpose, or simply someone drawn to intuitive storytelling, this space invites you to explore how your work can be a healing practice for both you and for those you film.
