Edinburgh Pitch Online 2020 – Meet the Decisionmakers
Now in its 14th year, the Edinburgh Pitch is the only international documentary pitching forum in Scotland.
It is aimed at independent filmmakers and companies developing and raising finance for creative feature documentaries and considering international co-productions.
This year’s event will take place online for the first time, with filmmakers pitching their projects to commissioners and broadcasters this June.
While those pitches will take place in private, we’re inviting members of the public to attend a webinar and hear from our panellists. It’s a chance to find out more about the projects they’ve commissioned in the past and what they might be looking for in the future.
Our current line-up is as follows:
Hannah Bailey (Doc Society), Mandy Chang (BBC Storyville), Joost Daamen (IDFA), Jackie Murphy (AlJazeera Media Network), Thomas Drachkovitch (Amazon Originals), Laurent Filiung (Arte GEIE), Tijana Djukic (Taskovski Films), Mark Thomas (Screen Scotland), Cíntia Gil (Sheffield Doc/Fest), Daniel Green (Dogwoof), Tony Nellany (BBC Scotland), Lindsay Poulton (The Guardian), Teresa Simikova (CPH:DOX), Aleksandra Derewienko (CAT&Docs), Chris White (POV), Vesna Cudic (Metfilm) Jenni Tuovenen (IDFA FORUM), Salma Abdalla (Autlook Filmsales), and Charlotte Gry Madsen (SVT), Debra Zimmerman (Women Make Movies), Rohan Crickmar (EIFF)
