Pitching is a core part of being a filmmaker. Whether pitching to directors, producers, distributors or investors a pitch deck is the first asset you will be using to introduce your project.

In this session, Jasmin Morrison will be covering what a pitch deck is, what to include when creating your pitch deck as well as some general advice to help you avoid the pitfalls to help you create the perfect pitch.

About Jasmin

Jasmin Morrison is an experienced film professional having worked in production, post production and film finance. In 2019 Jasmin founded Soul Cognition a film and TV consultancy company which is committed to education for filmmakers on the topics of film finance, sales and distribution. Soul Cognition works with individual clients as well as hosting courses, to date SC has hosted course with Film London, Northern Ireland Screen and has participated as a guest speaker on the NFTS Course “Producing You First Feature Film”.

In addition to Soul Cognition, Jasmin also co-owns production outfit UnMannered Limited with Annika Ranin. The company is currently in production on two feature documentaries “Boarders” and “Max Vs Everest”. The company is also developing a number of feature and short, documentary and narrative projects.

Jasmin also serves as a consultant for Breaking Through the Lens.

Having previously served as the Investment Manager at London based The Fyzz Facility Jasmin has been involved in the financing of over 100 feature films and has experience working from conception to distribution.
