New Voices, our mentoring and professional development programme for Scotland’s female and non-binary documentary filmmakers, is again open for applications.

As we prepare to select a new group of filmmakers for New Voices, join us as we welcome career coach Viana Maya and current participants to discuss the benefits of the scheme and talk you through the application process.

Part of our SDI 50/50+ Women Direct campaign, the programme is a mix of mentoring, workshops and career coaching sessions, designed to grow your knowledge of the business side of documentary filmmaking, expand your industry network, explore career expectations and look at practical issues such as childcare and finances.
